CHRISTY BEARD

KENNEDY COLLECTION ACCOUNT & MARKETING MANAGER

Christy Beard is an account and marketing manager, maintaining our digital presence and marketing materials while creating design proposals for prospective Kennedy Collection clients. She brings an artist’s eye to her work, sharpened by six years of visual merchandising management and two years of visual design freelancing.
This Savannah College of Art & Design graduate got her start with a visual display internship at Anthropologie, which paved the way for her career in aesthetics. When she’s not working, she loves taking early-morning boxing classes and paddle-boarding on Lady Bird Lake.

WHAT SHE'S BEEN UP TO LATELY:

  • Hosting a power tools 101 class for women in Austin

  • Adding to her indoor jungle in an attempt to achieve crazy plant lady status

  • Planning a trip to Tulum

CHRIS STRBJAK

KENNEDY COLLECTION MANAGER

Chris Strbjak brings a wealth of industry experience to his role on the Kennedy team thanks to a steep background in sports and entertainment management in Illinois and Colorado. As Kennedy Collection manager, he heads up the brands' boutique rental division, providing sales support and logistical care. As the point of contact for event rentals, he build quotes and contracts, provides layout options, sources new pieces, and oversees details from load-in to strike.

He moved to Austin in 2018 with his wife, a UT grad (hook em!) and their son. Although opportunities for winter sports are few in the Lone Star State, he and his family quickly took to the local trails and lakes, where they spend much of their time. Forever feeling the need for speed, the former racing team employee is currently working on a project motorcycle, so keep an eye out for Chris on the road!

WHAT HE'S BEEN UP TO LATELY:

  • Enjoying his ILEA Austin membership

  • Restoring a 1984 Honda Shadow

  • Chasing a quick one-year-old around the house
